Meet your team of instructors and SUP Yoga teachers.
Paddleboarding London specialises in offering paddleboard tuition, tours and SUP Yoga for individuals, groups and corporate settings. From our home base in Camden we have taught hundreds of people from all over the world how to paddle. We are an Airbnb Experience provider with a ranking of 4.97 out of 5 and over 290 people have ranked us 5*, earning us a special recognition from the site. We were the original founders of SUP Yoga sessions at Wilderness Festival and participate annually in We Work Summer Camp at Eridge Park. We were also ranked one of the Top 5 Yoga Experiences in London from MTV UK.
Our work supports The Pirate Castle in Camden, a charity focussed on teaching water sports to children. We support the charity through financial contributions (£2 per board per session is donated) as well as a portion of our annual profits.
Jennifer teaches paddleboarding & paddleboard yoga. She was introduced to SUP from a fellow yoga teacher and dear friend and fell in love with the combination of nature and wellbeing. She’s usually better recognised as the owner of Clyde, the SUP pup who is frequently photographed on his tours of London canals.
Anu loves exploring the world on paddleboard. Originally from Finland, she currently calls London home. Anu discovered SUP in 2011 and took my ASI SUP certification in 2014. At the end of 2017, she certified as a Level 3 Fitness Instructor and Personal Trainer. Anu is always ready for the next adventure, with a smile!
Josh grew up in the New Forest and for as long as he can remember, has loved spending time on or in the water. He loves introducing people to paddle boarding and sharing his passion whilst meeting new people. Josh runs guided paddle boarding trips across the UK as Josh The SUP Guide, and is thrilled to be working as an instructor with Paddleboarding London.
Rachael discovered her love of sport when she began trampolining at the age of three and competed nationally for several years. Following her interest, she moved from the North East to London to study for a Master’s degree in Sports Therapy. Living on the coast, Rachael spent a lot of time on the beautiful beaches and in the very cold North Sea. So she began paddleboarding in London to bring a sense of the coast to the city.
Inspired by how much yoga has changed and shaped her own life, Laura is passionate about helping others access its many benefits to create stronger, healthier bodies, improved focus and a renewed sense of purpose. Her teaching is intuitive and nurturing and her classes are playful, creative, delicately balancing effort with ease and influenced by her wide experience practicing with highly regarded and inspirational teachers over the past 17 years. Yoga on a paddle board combines Laura’s love of nature, fun and the outdoors with all the amazing benefits of a traditional yoga practice.
Fabienne took to paddleboarding a few years ago to balance her day job of running a hair salon in Richmond. She loves the feeling of peace and tranquillity being on the water creates. It also gives her a connection to nature in a busy city. Ask Fabienne about her favourite SUP destinations. She has paddled in some incredible places.
Lesley started Paddleboarding a few years ago after a taster session on the River Great Ouse in Bedford, her local river. She fell in love with paddleboarding straightaway and after spending as much time as I could on the river and attending different SUP courses and clinics, she decided to go for her ASI Level 1 SUP Instructor Qualification. After completing her shadowing hours at Paddleboarding London, she passed with flying colours. Lesley is now the proud co-founder and co-owner of Heron and Hush Paddleboarding in Bedford where not only do they know the huge impact and importance of Paddleboarding for mental and physical wellbeing but they have a lot of fun too.
