The familiar canal, but in a different light 

There’s a specific quality of light in London between about six and eight in the evening that most people only ever see from a pavement or a pub window. On the canal at that hour, it’s something else. The water goes gold. The narrowboats catch the last of the sun. The herons, which are somehow still there, don’t move. The city hums at a distance rather than around you.

Our sunset sessions run on the Regent’s Canal through Camden and Regent’s Park, one of the most scenic stretches of waterway in London. Full moon sessions run monthly on the nearest calm evening to the full moon — the canal in moonlight is something that’s quite difficult to describe and worth experiencing for yourself.

These are open sessions rather than private bookings, which means you’ll be paddling alongside other people who’ve booked a place. Spaces are limited deliberately to keep the experience intimate. It’s not a crowd on the canal. It’s a small group of people who all had the same idea about how to spend their evening, and who tend to leave having quite enjoyed each other’s company.

These sessions are for people with previous paddleboarding experience. If you haven’t paddled before, we’d recommend starting with a private lesson or beginner session first.
